In a recent post, Yvonne Nelson called on all Ghanaians to support her to organize another vigil to protest the current rampant power outages.
In the open letter to the public she wrote; “It is with a heavy heart and deep concern for the welfare of out dear nation that I address the resurgence of the power crisis, commonly known as ‘dumsor’ in Ghana… I am extending an open call to all Ghanaians, organizations and legal professionals who are willing to join me in pushing for meaningful action to address the current power crisis.”
Yvonne Nelson organized a similar vigil in 2015 when the country experienced a similar power crisis situation. That vigil was captured in her book titled; “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson”.
