With cheers and excitement, Samini graduated on July 28, 2023. He has since received a lot of congratulatory messages from fans around the world as well as fellow artist in the music industry.
According to Samini, he made a promise to himself after high school that he will one day go back to school to obtain university education to make his mother proud.
Samini in June this year announced his comeback to music after successfully fulfilling his promise to himself. He said; “4 years ago I decided to challenge myself to a promise I made to my own damn self after high school. That I would one day go back and do university education just to complete the journey if not for anything to make mama proud since she was my biggest fan and played a major role in how I got to convince family to allow me to choose music over books.”
The sensational artist also used the opportunity to announce to his loved ones, the completion of his degree program at GIMPA. He also encourage people not to give up. And that, it is never late to go back to something you really would want to do.
“Today I’m proud to tell all my loved ones and well-wishers that I’m Officially done with my exams for my PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEGREE PROGRAM at GIMPA BUSINESS SCHOOL and am awaiting Graduation….. Morale . YOU CAN DO IT NO MATTER HOW LATE. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. Back to the music. Lol. Dem no ready for what’s cooking smh. #Akyesaaaaaaaaaa (sic),” Samini added.
Samini has been relevant in the Ghanaian music scene for more than two decades. He is mostly credited with the energy with which he performs on stage.
The High Grade boss has also had an impact in the careers of some artists over the years, who are currently performing at the top. Notable among them are Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata.
