My Avengers script was stolen and put online for sale: – Samuel L. Jackson.

Renowned Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson has revealed that his ‘Avengers’ script was printed and put online for sale.

Director Fury as he is popularly know in the marvel TV series ‘Agents of Shield’ made this revelation when he was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly. Samuel L. Jackson mentioned that the script was printed from Marvel Studio Production Offices and then put online for sale. According to him, Marvel initiated a fake buy to get the script back.

The versatile actor noted that, this has made Marvel to beef up their security around the premises to extent of shooting down drones that fly over their production lots.

“There are worse examples than that, I remember when we got ready to do ‘Avengers,’ someone printed out a copy of my ‘Avengers’ script that had my watermark on it, and put it online for sale. I was shooting in Canada and Marvel came to Canada. It had been printed in the production office… They found out who it was, dude quit, left the country. They set up a fake buy for the script, dude didn’t show up. It was crazy.”

Someone who has had first hand experience on how to keep production secrets is Emilia Clarke the game of thrones superstar. Emilia Clarke co-starred with Samuel L. Jackson in Marvel’s dark spy series ‘Secret Invasion’. Emilia had this to say;

“When we were doing ‘Game of Thrones,’ when it started to get to the later seasons, some massive security changes happened, I was chatting with [showrunners] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] and they were like, ‘Marvel. We’re just learning from Marvel. Whatever Marvel’s doing, we just want to do that.’ So that became, you don’t print anything — and then there was like me and Peter Dinklage being like, ‘I need it on paper! I can’t learn my lines without it being on paper!’”

“Secret Invasion” is now streaming on Disney+.
