Causing the talking on social media is the presence of Karl Urban in the teaser photo who has been tipped to play Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2.
Johnny Cage will make his screen debut in the next Mortal Kombat sequel after being teased near the ending of the first film, in which Cole Young (Lewis Tan) heads to Los Angeles in search of Cage. The character was previously portrayed by Linden Ashby and Chris Conrad in the films Mortal Kombat (1995) and Mortal Kombat Annihilation (1997), respectively.

Fans also immediately noticed Urban in the photo above with his beard trimmed and hair having frosted tips, maybe for his Johnny Cage style. Naturally, a lot of people are going crazy and expressing their ecstatic reactions to the The Boys star bringing the legendary role to life.
