“If you are an artiste and your manager wants to be a superstar than you, Be careful.” – Fameye warns.

Artistes depend on their managers as much as their managers depend on them. But what happens if the manager is competing with the artiste for stardom?

The above question probably is what pushed Ghanaian Singer Fameye to send a word of advise to upcoming artiste through his Facebook page. The ‘Praise’ hitmaker cautioned upcoming artiste to be careful of some attitudes exhibited by some artiste managers.

According to the singer, upcoming artiste should do due diligence before signing to be managed by some artiste managers. This is because some managers want to become superstars themselves than pushing the artiste to attain such heights.

He added that, when you begin to see such signs, it “is either you signed a wrong deal or a Devil came in a form of an angel.”

Fameye said; “If you are an artiste and your manager wants to be a super star than you ? Becareful, is either you signed a wrong deal or a Devil came in a form of an angel.”

The Bogoso superstar is making this comments at a time where some artiste are opting out of their contracts with their managers. This is not to be concluded that, the departing artiste face exactly what the ‘Nothing I get’ singer mentioned. But it is also worth knowing that there is no smoke without fire.

The 2020 VGMA Best New Artist of the Year winner has Peter Famiyeh Bozah as his birth name, but known in showbiz as Fameye. He rose to fame after his participation in the MTN Hitmaker contest.
