I had to sell some of my properties to raise more funds to produce Jagun Jagun: – Femi Adebayo.

The director of ‘Jagun Jagun’ has revealed that, he had to sell some of his properties to finish shooting the movie.

The movie which has been well received by film buffs, is an African classic that reflects the cultural values of the people. Femi Adebayo produced ‘Jagun Jagun’ as well as making an appearance in the movie.

Femi Adebayo in an interview disclosed that, the money he made from his previous movie ‘Agbeshinkole’ could not fund ‘Jagun Jagun’ to completion. And he had to dispose off some of his assets to support the production.

“I cannot say the exact amount I spent on shooting it. I used the proceeds of Agbeshinkole to produce Jagun Jagun. At a point, I was out of finance, and because I had faith that the project would work, I sold my properties,” Femi disclosed.

The plot reads; “A young man determined to become a powerful warrior joins an elite army, encountering the wrath of a maniacal warlord and the love of a fierce woman.”

‘Jagun Jagun’ is currently streaming on Netflix.
