‘House of the Dragon’, second season set to hit M-Net and Showmax Express on June 17.

The second season of HBO Original drama series House of the Dragon, which consists of eight episodes, premieres in the US on Sunday, June 16. It can be viewed on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) Express from the US starting at 1am on Monday, June 17, and it will premiere in prime time at 7pm on the same day. Showmax will also have the series available.

With the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively, Westeros is on the verge of a horrific civil war. The Green and Black teasers depict the two viewpoints as distinct but complimentary parts of the same tale, since each side feels that theirs is the legitimate throne.

Logline: Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
