Argylle, the latest film starring Henry Cavill, will soon be accessible on Apple TV+; the streaming service has revealed the official release date.

On Friday, April 12, the Matthew Vaughn-directed adventure will be available for free streaming on Apple TV+ for both new and current customers.

On the X account of Apple Original Films, the release date was revealed alongside a playful pun and a photo of Bryce Dallas Howard from the cast.

“Never judge an author by their cover. Argylle is coming to Apple TV+ in one week,” the caption reads

In the best-selling spy novels written by reclusive novelist Elly Conway, Cavill portrays the title character, secret agent Argylle. Nevertheless, the distinction between fact and fiction is quickly obscured when the storylines in her novels start to resemble the activities of an actual intelligence agency.

Pop sensation Dua Lipa and Peacemaker’s John Cena are among the ensemble cast members, along with Bryan Cranston, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, and Catherine O’Hara.

With a poor reception upon its release in UK theaters in February, director Vaughn’s film Argylle became his lowest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes.
