John Woo will reappear as director of The Killer, a remake of his 1989 action film of the same name.
Peacock posted three pictures of Nathalie playing the notorious assassin Zee in a Twitter/X post. She is shown with her co-star Omar Sy, who portrays police investigator Sy.
Sam Worthington co-stars with Nathalie as Zee’s secretive tutor and handler Finn, and Diana Silvers as a blind young woman named Jenn.
The caption to the post reads; “”Never send boys to do a woman’s job. #TheKiller, from legendary director John Woo, arrives August 23, exclusively on Peacock”.

Speaking about her character at an interview with IGN, Nathalie said; “Zee has been living a life of solitude if you will, and she has maybe one or two friends, if you can even call them that, because she’s a contract killer. That’s her whole life, and she’s very, very good at it. And she has a very specific code in how she likes to do things.
“And when she’s told who and when to kill somebody, she does it in her own specific way. And her dilemma in this movie is that she’s being asked to kill somebody who she doesn’t believe deserves it. And for some reason she can’t believe that they deserve to be killed.”
The Killer will be released exclusively on Peacock on August 23.
