Rachel and Alvy Novy, a married pair, are portrayed in the film by Emilia Clarke and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The busy New York couple admits their desire to conceive a kid together in The Pod Generation.
The trailer begins with a bizarre scene of Rachel shopping at a supermarket with hundreds of kids in car seats on shelves, as she explains, “I have been having the strangest dreams…”
The Pod Generation is directed by Sophie Barthes and stars Rosalie Craig from 1899 as well as Vinette Robinson and Jean-Marc Barr from The Lazarus Project.
The film will be 109 minutes long and will be released in theaters in the United States on August 11. A release date in the United Kingdom is yet to be announced.
