‘Dear Ghanaians, join me in another ‘DumsorMustStop’ vigil,” – Yvonne Nelson pleads.

Ghanaian actress and film producer, Yvonne Nelson has asked Ghanaians to join her to organize another Dumsor vigil.

The celebrated actress made the plea through a letter she posted on her twitter page. The current power outages in the country has forced the filmmaker to speak out on social media.

This is not the first time, the “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” author is planning on holding such a vigil. During the administration of the former president John Mahama, Yvonne Nelson organized a vigil when power outages became rampant in the country.

After a number of social media users and activists in various organizations questioned the silence of the actress over the current power challenges, Yvonne has finally taken a bold step.

Yvonne Nelson in her letter noted that, in 2015, she had the backing of personalities such as Sarkodie, DKB, D Black, Prince David Osei, Van Vicker, Efya, Barima Sidney and Kofi Bentil of Imani Ghana.

The talented actress is counting on the support of these personalities and many other Ghanaians to organize another dumsor vigil.
