Black Panther Hero Chadwick Boseman gets a posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa the king of Wakanda has been honored posthumously with a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.

Following his fight with colon cancer, the 43-year-old Marvel star passed away in 2020, prompting an outpouring of tributes from the whole entertainment sector and the world at large.

Along with other well-known actors, Boseman shares a Walk of Fame star with Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige, Wonder Woman actors Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, The Lost Daughter actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Meledandri from Despicable Me, and Christina Ricci from The Addams Family.

On the television front, honorees include Ken Jeong from The Hangover, Eugene Levy from Schitt’s Creek, Michael Schur from The Good Place, Kerry Washington from Scandal, Sheryl Lee Ralph from Abbott Elementary, TV host Mario Lopez, sportscaster Jim Nantz, and Ral De Molina and Lili Estefan from El Gordo y La Flaca.

Carl Weathers of The Mandalorian, Gwen Stefani, and Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock are among those expected to earn stars.

“The Selection Committee, which is made up of fellow Walk of Famers, carefully hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” said Ellen K, the Chair of the Walk of Fame Selection Panel.

“The Committee did an amazing job choosing these very talented people. We can’t wait to see each honoree’s reaction as they realize that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”
