Global Affairs Canada, through the High Commission of Canada in Ghana, seeks to hire a Monitorin and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to provide expert analysis and advice to build the capacity of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) and other beneficiary institutions of the modernizing agriculture in Ghana (MAG) program on statistics, results monitoring, theory of change and the logic of an intervention, targets and indicators and data collection, standardization, analysis and use. The M&E Specialist will provide technical advice and support to MoFA and MLGDRD with respect to the MAG Program
The consultant must have the following knowledge and qualifications
• Experience in the field of monitoring or evaluation of international development programs
The consultant should have the following experience and skills
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized post-secondary institution
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in Ghana
• Demonstrated experience providing technical advisory services to bilateral or multilateral institutions
• Demonstrated experience developing monitoring and evaluation tools, both independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrated experience providing monitoring and evaluation services in the agriculture sector, decentralized governance structures and for gender equality results
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent English writing skills
