‘Alita: Battle Angel’ sequels confirmed by Executive Producer James Cameron.

The 2019 movie ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ is set to get a sequel as fans have been demanding for it since its release.

‘Alita’ the 2019 movie is about a battle cyborg that found favor in the eyes of a doctor, leading to its revival. The film was directed by Robert Rodriguez and can be said to have gained a modest success at the box office raking in $405 million.

Despite the long silence on any update with regards to a sequel, there is good news now. Executive Producer James Cameron gave an update about ‘Alita’ during an interview with Forbes. He confirmed that ‘Alita: Battle Angel sequels are currently under development.

The conversation was around why James Cameron and his wife were selling their Gaviota Coast ranch. The Avatar director mentioned that, it has to do with a list of Avatar moves and Alita 2 that he is working on.

“I’m working in Wellington and Los Angeles. And on the new Alita: Battle Angel films, I’ll be working in Austin, so it just didn’t make sense for us [to live there] anymore.”

Director of ‘Alita 1’ Robert Rodriguez mentioned in an interview to Total Film and GamesRadar+ that Cameron and fellow producer Jon Landau were discussing the character’s future but that nothing had been finalized as of yet.

“We have been talking about it, so we would love to make [an Alita sequel],

“We haven’t set it for sure yet, but we’re definitely hoping to and talking about it a lot. [Landau and Cameron are] slammed with all the Avatar stuff, but they’ve definitely been engaging in it.”

The comments of James Cameron comes as good news to the fans of Alita: Battle Angel around the world.
