The movie will be screened at the prestigious 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany, which honors the finest of Nollywood while promoting global trade and cross-cultural interaction.
The premiere of the movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ in Ghana saw hundreds of people gather at the theaters to watch the movie on the big screens. The well received film was directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and executive produced by Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
Veteran actors such as Paa George, Sweet Mimi, Victor Osuagwu, Charles Awurum, and Ramsey Nouah, among others, featured in the movie.
According to reports, actor cum producer Lilwin had this to say about the news; “This recognition is not just for me but for the entire team and our collaborative efforts to bridge Ghanaian and Nigerian cultures through film. We aspire to secure a spot on Netflix and achieve global recognition for our work.”
The annual Nollywood Festival/NEGA Awards Germany aims to promote international trade and exchange prospects in this mostly unexplored sector by presenting the best of Nollywood to the German public.
August 3, 2024, is scheduled for this Year’s edition, which will be held at GOETHE University, Purple Cinema, Mertonstr 26-28, in Frankfurt AM Main, Germany.
