I had a verse on the original ‘Effiakuma Love’ song; but Kofi Kinaata took it out. – Ras Kuuku

Reggae Dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku has disclosed that, he had a verse on the original ‘Effiakuma Love’ song, but it was deleted.

According to Ras Kuuku, Kofi Kinaata took his verse out and remade the song without his consent. Ras Kuuku made this revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty, host of Daybreak Hitz.

On the original ‘Effiakuma Love’ song, Kofi Kinaata used a thick voice and I complemented it with a soft voice, Ras Kuuku noted. He added that, despite the soft touch he added to the song, upon release, his verse was taken out.

“I do not know what happened… After I did it, he went to sing it again. The first song he sang his voice was thick and I gave him the lighter voice after listening to mine, they went and they sang it again,” Ras Kuuku said.

Ras Kuuku mentioned that, Kofi Kinaata called after the release of the song to notify him of his decision to delete his verse. Despite his disappointment, Ras Kuuku added, he is cool with Kofi Kinaata.

“I was worried but Kofi is my brother so I kept it cool. I don’t have any issue with him just that I had a song with him, he took my verse from it, done. That’s all,” he added.

The reggae dancehall artiste however noted that, he will not accept to do a remix if Kofi Kinaata should request it.
