I’m not a woman who would tolerate being mistreated by my husband”: Nana Ama McBrown

Onua Showtime host, Nana Ama McBrown has debunk rumours that she is having a tough time in her marriage.

Unfounded rumours circulating suggest that, the Queen of TV Shows has been going through some form of abuse from her husband Maxwell Mensah.

During a discussion on her show ‘Onua Showtime’, the celebrated show host used the opportunity to clear the air. She emphatically stated that, a woman of her status will not tolerate such kind of behaviour from a man.

Nana Ama McBrown said; “Do I look like a lady who would be beaten by her husband? Such a thing (abuse) cannot happen in my house. I’m not a woman who would tolerate being mistreated by my husband.”

The multi-talented beauty also acknowledged that she has heard such rumours, and sometimes received phone calls from her family members about those rumours. She also recounted on when her mother called her on similar concerns.

She told her audience; “I’ve told my mother that until I call her or a family member calls to provide an information, she should ignore everything she hears… When she called to enquire about the stories of my husband beating me, I just asked, “does she think a woman like me will allow herself to be beaten by her husband?
