‘Comic & Comedy’: Ghana’s maiden stand up comedy festival takes place this July.

Ghana’s maiden stand up comedy festival, ‘Comic & Comedy’ promises to serve patrons with exhilarating experience this July.

As the first of its kind in Ghana, ‘Comic & Comedy’ brings together current rising comedians and veteran industry personalities to thrill patrons with an unforgettable experience.

The inaugural “Comic & Comedy” festival which is scheduled to take place at the National Theatre in Accra on Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23, 2023, is presented by JPS Communications and supported by Superfam Network.

Appearing as special guests are Fritz Baffour a politician and communications consultant, and Mikki Osei Berko an actor and media personality. These two distinguished personalities with their vast experience will thrill patrons with brilliant performances that will leave them begging for more.

Joining these veteran performers are upcoming sensational comedians, Foster Romanus, Clemento Suarez, Jacinta, OB Amponsah, Lekzy Decomic, Jeneral Ntatia, Afia Barcelona, Putogo, and Yaa Anima. This generation of comedians are the best at what what they do. They have filled cinemas, and thrilled patrons at every opportunity presented to them.

The creator of this hilarious event, Francis Tetteh Nutakor, argues that the comedy business is developing quickly. He came up with “Comic & Comedy” after seeing the need to commemorate achievements and unite the past, present, and future generations.

“This festival aims to honor all those who have contributed to the field while providing the next generation with the invaluable opportunity to draw wisdom from the well of experience shared by the legends.”

But there’s more! There are more than just belly-laughing acts in “Comic & Comedy.” Be ready to be mesmerized by fantastic musical performances, to watch thrilling dance performances, and to take advantage of the opportunity to network with other comedy aficionados. This event promises to be an experience unlike any other, with excitement expected to be at an all-time high.
