The production of Venom 3 is not affected by the writers strike and it is expected to hit cinemas in October, 2024.
The strike of the Writers Guild of America which started on May 2, 2023 has a affected a lot of productions. Despite this impact, Venom 3’s production will continue uninterrupted.
A report by Variety concerning Hannah Waddington and Juno Temple’s upcoming projects hinted that, the scripted of Venom 3 was done before the strike began.
Though we don’t known when filming of Venom 3 will begin officially, Temple who will be featuring in the movie stated that, cameras are scheduled to start filming “very, very soon, which I’m thrilled about”.
On the writers strike, Waddingham is cited as saying, “We had to stand fully firm with them on the picket line, because 100% none of us would be here without the genius and expertise in that room.”
The third Venom film’s plot is still mostly unknown, but writer Kelly Marcel is stepping up to both direct and co-write with Tom Hardy.
